Alex Roberto Hybel, the Susan Eckert Lynch ´62 Professor of Government, is an expert in international relations theory, specializing in U.S. foreign policy and Latin American politics. He has written five books, including The Bush Administrations and Saddam Hussein: Deciding on Conflict (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006), which he co-authored with a Connecticut College graduate. He is currently working on his sixth book, Ideological Encounters.
