Professor Arang Keshavarzian

Arang Keshavarzian, an assistant professor of government, specializes in Middle East politics and the political economy of Iran. He has extensively researched the socioeconomic structure of the Tehran Bazaar, and his findings were recently published in his book, Bazaar and State in Iran: the Politics of the Tehran Marketplace. He is currently researching the political economy of free trade zones in the Persian Gulf.
