How to annotate:

Feature

How to use When done
Arrow
changes the mouse pointer to a rotating arrow
  • Move the mouse to point with an arrow
  • Click the mouse to drop an arrow on screen
End with right mouse click
Spotlight
produces an oval spot that moves with the mouse
  • Drag a frame with the mouse to define the size of spotlight
  • Drag with right mouse button to adjust the size
  • Move the mouse to move the spotlight on the screen
End with right mouse click
Zoom
zooms in on a defined rectangle to fill the entire screen
  • Drag with the mouse to define the area to be zoomed into
  • Drag again to zoom into a different part of the screen
End with right mouse click
Magnifier
magnifies a defined rectangle area of the screen
  • Drag with the mouse to define the area to be magnified
  • Drag again to move the magnified window on the screen
  • Drag with the right mouse button to resize
To end, click with the right mouse button and select Exit
Cover
produces a narrow solid color frame at the edges of the screen
  • Drag the colored edges or corners with the mouse to hide part of the screen
End from the same button on the HiLighter toolbar
Text
allows you to write text on the screen
  • Drag with the mouse to define text area, then type text
End by clicking outside of the text area
Highlighter
changes the mouse to a highlighter
  • Drag with the mouse to draw
Works only one time. To use again, choose the feature from the HiLighter toolbar.
Pen
changes the mouse to a pen
  • Drag with the mouse to draw
Works only one time. To use again, choose the feature from the HiLighter toolbar.
Rectangle or Oval Outline
allows you to draw an outlined rectangle or oval
  • Drag with the mouse to determine the size and place of the outline
  • Drag with the right mouse button to resize the outline
Works only one time. To use again, choose the feature from the HiLighter toolbar.
Numbering
places a number next to each annotation
  • Once on, automatically places a number next to each annotation placed on the screen after the numbering was turned on
