Assistive Technology Resources

Information Services, in cooperation with The Office of Disabilities Services, provides a number of Assistive Technology options for students with special needs. The Assistive Technology Lab, located in the lower level of the Library, is currently equipped with computers that provide access to the following resources:

Dragon Naturally Speaking :
Voice recognition software allows “dictation” to computer programs and control of programs by spoken command.

Kurzweil 3000:
Kurzweil 3000 is a reading, writing, and learning software solution for students who may be struggling. It includes features such as: patented dual highlighting, quick access to word meanings, comprehensive study skill tools, flexible writing tools, text-to-speech (TTS) option, etc.
