Ordering Transcripts

Requests for transcripts must be made in writing to the Office of Records and Registration. This can be done by filling out a transcript request form, found at the Office of Records and Registration (Fanning 105) or by mailing or FAXing us your request.

Please print out a copy of the transcript request form.

In accordance with Federal law, the student's signature is required to process the request. Please include your name at the time of attendance, year of graduation or dates of attendance, and the address where you would like the transcript to be sent, your phone number, and if available, an e-mail address. Please specify if the transcript(s) needs to be official or unofficial. If an official transcript is to be returned to the student in a sealed envelope(s), please specify where the transcript(s) will ultimately be sent.

The fee is $5 per copy. When FAXing your transcript request (requests are processed on a first come, first served basis), please follow-up by sending your payment by check or money order (payable to "Connecticut College") or cash.

You may also pay by VISA, MasterCard or DiscoverCard if you provide the following information:
(a) card number
(b) expiration date
(c) the street address number
(d) zip code and
(e) the 3-digit security number on the back of the credit card. Transcript requests will not be processed until payment is received.

Transcript requests are processed on a first come, first-served basis. Please take note of your own deadline and plan accordingly to ensure timely receipt of your transcript. Normal processing time is two to three working days. Please allow more time (at least five working days) during peak periods (December, January, February and May - June).

Students may arrange to have transcripts mailed via Federal Express at their own expense. Please include a Fed Ex account number or a credit card number and expiration date.

Transcripts will be issued only if all financial obligations to the College have been met.
