TRIP - Traveling Research and Immersion Program
Course-related travel enhances on-campus discussion
Traveling Research and Immersion Program (TRIP) is a short-term (1-3 weeks), faculty-led trip to a site, either domestic or international, that is designed to give students a hands-on experience that has been crafted to complement the work of a specific course.
TRIP was conceived to create transforming opportunities for faculty and students by providing immersion experiences at domestic and international sites in order to deepen the intellectual discussion upon return to classroom and campus.
A TRIP can take place either during the academic year between semesters, at spring break, or during the summer immediately at the completion of the academic year.
