Individual Study

Individual Study at the undergraduate level in a number of departments may be available to properly qualified students, subject to availability of staff.

Such study includes meetings during the summer with the supervising faculty person. The proposal for study must have the approval of the department and the instructor supervising the project.

Application should be made before May 25 through the Office of Records and Registration, followed by an interview with a faculty member in the appropriate academic department.

Unless otherwise indicated, departments will assign the undergraduate level when the Individual Study Option proposal is submitted.
