Junior & Senior Years

Juniors/ seniors who matriculated in Fall 2016 or later: Follow the Connections Program Requirements

Academic focus

Junior and senior years are time to delve deeply into the major, minor or certificate. All general requirements should be completed no later than first-semester junior year. Exploration of courses in the pathway/ academic center will have begun second-semester sophomore year and will continue as juniors and seniors build on their academic interests and passions.

During junior and senior years, students should reconnect with the Office of Career Preparation to consider summer internship opportunities and post-graduation careers. Students should be contemplating, designing and developing capstone experiences to be displayed, presented or performed the last semester of senior year.

Students should meet regularly with the faculty advisers (at least once a semester during pre-planning and pre-registration) and their class dean to ensure all requirements are being met for graduation.
