| "I would certainly like to work more with the other
major dialects of the PRC. I intend to travel more widely in China,
so better understanding of local accents, speech patterns, vocabulary,
and whole dialects would be very useful. I also wish to gain a better
understanding of the politics of the 20th century, from the Qing dynasty
