Nanjing violinist

Cafeteria, Nanjing 3/20/04. Eric Schluessel '04 sits in wonder as he and Professor Tek-wah King are serenaded in a Nanjing eatery by a remarkably skilled violinist.   His renditions of Western classical and Chinese folk music showed a love of and dedication to his craft, though it is unfortunate that such a talented musician found it necessary to perform for pocket change in such a place.   This sizable cafeteria sold a variety of Nanjing's famous appetizers and soups, including here welcomingly warming noodle soup, steamed buns, and a plate of stuffed lotus roots.
