Suzhou University, Suzhou 3/22/04. The group looks on in a mix of fascination and bewilderment as we are taught the basics of Suzhounese phonology.   Suzhou University plays host to a number of foreign students who come to Suzhou, once a great cultural and garden center of China, to learn Chinese.
