An island restaurant, Nanjing 3/21/04. Petra Kovacevic '06, Kirsten Pflomm RTC, Ly Huong Dinh '06, Johnny Benton '07, Emily Bassin '06, and Eric Schluessel '04 dine with their bus drivers on authentic Nanjing island food. The islands in the Yangzi River have long been known as agricultural centers and are thus home to a very hearty, yet mostly vegetable-based, native cuisine. These dishes were remarkably tasty for all of their simplicity.
