"We are graced with the presence of Connecticut College mascot, the majestic and noble Camel（駱駝）, during our very first outing in Beijing（北京）, standing as a symbolic metaphor aside the grand Great Wall of ancient Chinese Civilization（長城——中國古代的文明）. Unbelieving and amazed that this structure still survives from so long ago, I imagined if any moment back then had this exact image of a great Camel next to the wall probably just freshly erected."
