"Even the shattered and fallen terra cotta soldiers(兵馬俑)lay delicately preserved in the hard earth. Weathered and aged, ironically they generate awe and curious wonder(敬畏與驚異)as such of novelty -- hard to imagine they were discovered but merely thirty years ago. The terra cotta artifacts bestow us the greatest treasures of time(時間的寶藏), historical gifts of the past(埋藏在歷史的廢墟中的禮物)for those in the future--now, the present." (Y. Ueki '08)
