Study Away

Film Studies majors and minors may study away for a semester or a year on approved programs.

Due to the very different ways film education is handled outside of North America, there are very few study away opportunities in film per se. However, study away experiences have been extraordinarily valuable to our Film Studies students in terms of enriching what they make films about.

In addition to consulting the Office of National and International Programs for information on specific programs, you should consult at an early date with your Film Studies professor in choosing a program and determining how which of the major/minor requirements can be fulfilled through study away.
