Study Away

The French department views the experience abroad as a vital part of the students' academic journey. Majors and non-majors are encouraged to study away in France or Francophone countries through programs such as IES or Sweet Briar College in Paris.

The department has a yearly exchange with the ENS Exchange, "Ecole Normale Supérieure," which allows one of our graduates to spend a year in Paris at Rue d'Ulm with free room and access to all courses and libraries.

No matter what your major, Connecticut College encourages you to take advantage of opportunities to study abroad. The Regular Study Abroad programs are available through the Office of National and International Programs
