WORKS IN PROGRESS:

·            Collecting data from 200 social workers, probation officers, and parole officers on perceptions and misperceptions of African American family communication and discipline (using the Spike Lee film Crooklyn)

·            Conducting interviews for a manuscript on “minority marketplace & discrimination experiences.”

·            Working with colleague Yvette Harris at Miami University-Ohio on a manuscript that will consist of “a parenting guidebook for minority caregivers.”
