Neck, the 710-acre park located on Long Island Sound, is a popular recreation
area. The clear water and stone
free beach is a great place to swim or simply to walk barefooted in the warm
weather. Bring your fishing poles
or a simple spool of string
and try to catch some fish or crabs. |

The
park trails give children a view of life in a salt marsh as well as
opportunities to explore Baker’s Cave or other points of interest.
The entire park offers the children an opportunity to collect
“treasures” so don’t forget your plastic
bags! |
