Are the children in your life interested in learning how things work?  Do they like to build things and experiment?  Do they get excited when they discover something on their own?  If so, a trip to the Science Center could really make their day.

The volunteers at the Science Center are very friendly and helpful.  They all want children to handle, explore, and experiment with everything.

The Science Center features activities for older children (ages 5 and  up);  however,  they  do  have  a room designed specifically for toddlers and preschoolers.

Regular exhibits include a touch and feel marine tank, a sound room, a light room, a carpentry workshop, circuitry centers, and reptile tanks, as well as plenty of computers.  Other exhibits are continuously changing so children are guaranteed to have a different experience every visit.

The Science Center also offers scheduled programs like the Summer Science Explorations that vary in subject matter and are designed for groups of all ages.  Demonstrations are offered on weekends as well as other select times and are free to all visitors.

You and your children can spend hours at the Science Center.  Whether building marble runways or working with circuit boards, your children will have a fun-filled learning experience!
