Study Away

The Colosseum, Rome.

Connecticut College encourages its students to take advantage of opportunities to study away or abroad. Regular Study Abroad programs are available through the Office of National and International Programs.

For students of any major, and for those in Italian and Italian Studies, there are varied opportunities for study in the major cities of Italy.

Further, students may study for a semester with their professor through the SATA (Study Away, Teach Away) program.

Professor Robert E. Proctor conducted the first Connecticut College SATA Rome 2000 at John Cabot University in Rome, SATA Rome 2002, and will lead SATA Florence 2007.
