Dean of Freshmen

Associate Dean of Studies and Dean of Freshmen Andrea Rossi-Reder is the academic dean for first-year students. As such, she counsels and advises freshmen on academic matters.

She and her staff organize and run orientation, and she trains student advisers who work with freshmen in the residence halls, working closely with the staff in the Offices of Student Life and Residential Education and Living.

Dean Rossi-Reder also teaches a first-year seminar.

Jill Blodgett is the assistant to the Associate Dean/Dean of Freshmen.
