Arrival Day
Friday, August 23, 2013
Move-in is between 9-11 a.m.
Once you arrive, you'll meet your roommate(s) and get settled, then begin Orientation activities and parents and families will attend the Program for Parents and Families.
The President's Assembly is at 3 p.m., followed by a reception at 4:15 p.m. for students and parents, after which parents will say goodbye and depart.
Orientation 2013
Orientation takes place from Arrival Day, Friday, Aug. 23, through Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013. Students, faculty, staff and members of the College administration take part in the program with enthusiasm. During the first few days, you will meet with your faculty adviser to discuss your course selections for the fall semester. Your student adviser and other student leaders will help you get settled and acquainted with the organizations, traditions and activities of Connecticut College.
Classes begin Thursday, Aug. 29, and Convocation takes place that afternoon.
We also offer the two following per-orientation opportunities: Genesis for first-generation college students and students of color, and Odyssey for international students.
