Application Checklist

  • $60 application fee or Fee Waiver Request* (due upon submission of either the Supplement or the Common Application)
  • Common Application with Essay 
  • Supplement to the Common Application 
  • Common Application Early Decision Agreement Form for EDI & EDII applicants (signed by ED applicant, college counselor and parent or legal guardian) available on the Common Application website starting in September
  • TOEFL or equivalent test if English is not your first language
  • Secondary school report
  • College counselor recommendation
  • Official secondary school transcript
  • Mid-year report with updated 12th grades
  • 2 academic teacher recommendations (preferably from junior or senior year)
  • Optional one-page peer recommendation

* If this fee creates a financial hardship or there are extenuating circumstances, you may request a fee waiver through your high school counselor, NACAC or the College Board. A waiver request must be endorsed by your counselor. See "Waiving College Application Fees" on the College Board website.

Standardized Test Policy
The submission of standardized tests (either SAT Reasoning, SAT Subject Tests, or ACT) is optional, although students whose primary language is not English are required to submit the TOEFL or its equivalent (i.e. MELAB or IELTS). Students will be asked to indicate their score choice (submission of one form of testing or no tests at all) to the Admission Committee on the Supplement to the Common Application. Optional Arts Submissions
We welcome supplemental arts materials you would like to submit along with your application. You may download and print the Arts Supplement PDF and mail this to the Office of Admission.
