Supplement to the Common Application

Connecticut College uses the Common Application and also requires the Connecticut College Supplement to the Common Application.  After you have created a profile, login and password for yourself on the Common Application Web site, you may then designate Connecticut College as a school to which you will apply. After you have done this, you can fill out an interactive online version of the Connecticut College Supplement and any information that you saved to your Common Application profile will automatically appear on your Supplement. You may save your work as you go along, and work on the Supplement as your time allows. When you are ready to submit your Supplement you may either print it out and mail it to the Admission Office, or you may submit it electronically.

To expedite the processing of your application, we highly encourage electronic submission, if at all possible. This allows us to electronically download your application information, which accelerates our process and allows us to spend more time reading applications than processing applications. If you are unable to submit electronically, you may download and print out a paper PDF version of the Supplement to fill out by hand and mail in to the College.

Early Decision applicants who submit the Supplement electronically will also need to print out and sign the Early Decision Commitment Statement.
