Financial Aid for International Students
Connecticut College is pleased to provide financial aid to a number of eligible non-U.S. citizens based entirely on demonstrated need. Competition for these scholarships is keen, and we look for students who have shown outstanding academic ability, a high level of competence in English, and notable non-academic involvement. We do not offer merit scholarships.
The most important step in the financial aid process is for you to provide financial information about you and your family.
Application requirements and deadlines
When you have been admitted to the College, your acceptance letter will include an offer of financial aid. Typically, this offer is in the form of grant funds. The amount of the grant is dependent upon financial need and budgetary constraints.
At a minimum all students are expected to fund transportation costs and personal expenses.
As family financial circumstances change, you must re-apply for financial aid every year.
Once you have had time to review your offer of financial aid (if admitted), you are encouraged to contact our staff with your questions. As mail delivery can be problematic, you can also use e-mail or fax.
