F-1 Visas: The Final Hurdle
Once you are accepted to Connecticut College, it is time to think about obtaining your F-1 visa. An F-1 visa is a document attached to your passport that has been authorized by the proper authorities which will allow you to enter and stay in the United States for your college education.
The process to obtain a visa may seem overwhelming at first, but if you take it step by step and allow yourself an adequate amount of time (ideally two months), you should have little or no problem. Although requirements are fairly universal, there may be slight deviations from country to country.
