Interviews

Interviews

Interviews are not required but are highly recommended as part of the Connecticut College application process. Our interviewers see the conversation as a time to exchange information and personalize what can often seem an impersonal process. The interview is informational as well as evaluative.

Both Admission Counselors and Admission Fellows conduct interviews and evaluate candidates. Admission Fellows are these student interviewers, a select group of seniors trained to assist the counseling staff throughout the year.

Please call ahead to schedule your interview, as spots are limited and fill quickly. Call the Office of Admission at 860-439-2200.

Before you come, read this list of helpful interview tips created by our Admission Fellows.

Interviews for the high school Class of 2009 begin March 24, 2008 and will continue until the middle of December, 2008.

Alumni interviews are an alternative to the on-campus interview and are intended for students who are not able to travel to campus due to geographic and/or personal challenges. Information on how to arrange an alumni will be available on this page beginning in September, 2008.

Remember, the interview is not an application requirement and you will not be held at a disadvantage for a circumstance out of your control.
