Explore 2008
A Multicultural Program for High School Seniors
Explore Weekend - November 8-10, 2008
At Connecticut College, we value diversity in its many forms, from religion and ethnicity, to sexual orientation and socioeconomic status. As the college continues to increase its diversity, making it a paramount goal, Explore is one of the most important programs the admission office sponsors. The purpose of Explore is to bring talented, high achieving students from underrepresented groups, and those interested in issues of diversity to our campus to further "explore" Connecticut College.
Explore 2008 brochures and applications will be available in late Summer, 2008. In the meantime, download the Explore 2007 brochure to get a sense of last year's Explore Weekend.

Each year, Connecticut College sponsors Explore weekend during the fall for high school seniors. Explore is designed to acquaint students with what a liberal arts college has to offer and more specifically, what Connecticut College has to offer in preparing students for successful careers in a global community. Explore participants will have an opportunity to experience and participate in the following activities as part of our program:
- Campus tour
- Admission interview
- Overnight stay with host in a dormitory
- Workshop on financial aid and applying to college
- Attend classes
- Dean/Faculty Reception
