Packaging Policies

Financial aid funding is limited and must be distributed in an equitable and consistent manner. Once financial need has been established, a financial aid package is constructed following a step-wise approach until financial need is met. The priority order is:

• Federal Pell Grant
• Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
• Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (freshmen/sophomore)
• Federal National SMART Grant (junior/seniors)
• Loan - Federal Stafford, Federal Perkins, or Connecticut College
• Federal Work Study
• State Grants
• Connecticut College Grant
