Learn about housing

You could share a room with one, two or three other students, in doubles, triples or quads.

When you enroll, you receive an Enrollment Guide, with lots of forms and a link to an online Student Housing Form. Your answers from the online Student Housing Form are used to help match you up with your roommate(s).

We will provide you with your Connecticut College user ID, email address and a temporary password in early June; you will need them to complete the online Student Housing Form, due June 13. If you do not receive your user ID, email address and password by June 3, please contact the IT Service Desk at 860-439-HELP (4357).

When you fill out the form, please be accurate in answering the questions about your lifestyle, such as your sleep schedule and your neatness (or lack thereof). The goal of the matching exercise is compatibility. Some roommates become best friends for life; others co-exist amicably but find their closest friends elsewhere.

See "Submit your housing application."

See our advice, "How to be a great roommate."

You'll get an email letting notifying you of your room assignment and your roommate on July 27. Please refrain from calling about your housing assignment until after July 27.

In the meantime, here's more information about the residence halls, specialty housing, dining, and what to bring when you move to campus.
