Financial Aid
The founders of Connecticut College believed any talented student who wanted an education ought to have access to one. We still believe that today.We know how profoundly excellence and opportunity can transform an individual's life. We also know that a community characterized by a diversity of backgrounds, opinions and perspectives enriches the educational experience of all its members.
In 2008-09 the College awarded $23.8 million in need-based financial aid, of which more than $18 million was grants from the College.
Through the Campaign for Connecticut College, we will invest in financial aid to continue enrolling the best and brightest students regardless of economic background. Our investment will ensure that our student body represents the broadest possible diversity of cultures and life experiences, further enhancing our academic excellence.
