Endowment
"Nike" or "Winged Victory" statue located on the campus.
Connecticut College is a strong institution. The endowment has not been immune to global declines in stock values, but it has fallen less than the major equity indexes.
Yet our peer schools – many of which are a century or more older – have built substantially larger endowments. To stay at the forefront of liberal arts education, we must close that gap.
The Campaign for Connecticut College will raise $100 million in new endowment to support professorships, study-away programs, financial aid and the interdisciplinary academic centers. Investment income from this $100 million will provide an additional $5 million annually to the College.
