Alumni Sons & Daughters

Connecticut College’s 19th annual Alumni Sons & Daughters Admission Program will be Sunday and Monday, Feb. 14-15, 2010.

Co-sponsored by the Offices of Alumni Relations and Admission, this program provides valuable insights and information to help secondary school juniors prepare for the selective college admission process.

Students will attend classes, practice interview techniques with student and staff interviewers, and gain a feel for the college experience by shadowing current students. Parents can participate in a mock admission committee and talk candidly with college administrators about the admission process, financial aid and campus life.

After this program, both students and parents will be better prepared to make informed decisions throughout the college search and application process.

To optimize the experience for participants, the program is limited to 40 families. All registrations are processed online or over the phone, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check back in early December for more information on how to register.

Beth Poole ’00, associate director of the Office of Alumni Relations, and Shalini Uppu, assistant director of the Office of Admission, are coordinating this year’s program. For more information, contact Beth at 1-800-888-7549, ext. 2301 or ebkae@conncoll.edu.
