Fall Weekend

Fall Weekend 2008 will take place October 24-26.

Fall Weekend is an annual gathering of alumni, students and parents at Connecticut College.

Last year, 1500 parents, alumni and friends returned to campus for Fall Weekend 2007. Highlights included an exciting Camel Kick-Off celebration, Harvestfest, mini-courses, a women's soccer win, a post-game party on the Green, and two keynote speakers, Karen Levin Coburn and LaShawn Jefferson '88.

Coburn, one of the leading experts on the college experience and co-author of Letting Go: A Parents' Guide to Understanding the College Years, spoke about making the transition from high school to college and the affect this has on parents. Jefferson, former executive director of the Women's Rights Division of Human Rights Watch, spoke about her work fighting for women's rights across the globe in countries like Brazil, Kenya and Zambia.
