Alumni of Color

Connecticut College Alumni of Color (CCAC) was established in 2007 to reach out to alumni, faculty, and current students of color.

CCAC plays an important role in the College's diversity efforts - providing networking among alumni and offering a support network for students. The group also keeps alumni tied to Unity House, the College's multicultural center.

CCAC alumni are involved in activities of the Alumni Association and the College at large. They facilitate and promote awareness of the needs of alumni and students of color.

Recent events included an induction ceremony on May 17, 2008. Graduating students and their families were invited to a cocktail reception at Blaustein Humanities Center, and members of the Class of 2008 were welcomed into CCAC by current members.
