Benefits
All graduates, as well as those who have earned at least 64 credits toward a Connecticut College degree, automatically become lifetime members of the Connecticut College Alumni Association.
Special benefits include:
- Access to the Connecticut College On-Line Community, which allows alumni to network with other alumni and post announcements
- Access to short-term health insurance through the Connecticut College Alumni Insurance Program, which covers gaps in coverage after graduation. Visit www.GradMed.com/ConnColl or call 1-800-922-1245.
- Use of libraries, including access to the online databases, Academic Search Alumni Edition and ABI/INFORM
- Use of athletic facilities and sports equipment including pool, rowing tanks, climbing wall and tennis courts
- Regional discussions with Connecticut College faculty, plus various opportunities for continuing education
- Reunion
- Special receptions at College events. Fall Weekend features a gathering for children of alumni and their families. Another is held during Commencement for those with children who are graduating.
- Participation in regional alumni events throughout the country and internationally
- Assistance from Career Enhancing Life Skills (CELS) with resume preparation, job opportunities and career changes
- Free subscription to CC: Connecticut College Magazine
- Special "legacy" events for children of alumni, including the annual Alumni Sons & Daughters Program. This program provides admission information for children and grandchildren of alumni who are juniors in high school.
- Alumni Awards: The Alumni Tribute Award, the Agnes Berkeley Leahy '21 Award, the Goss Award, the Harriet Buescher Lawrence '34 Award, The Mach Arom Award '89 and the Athletic Hall of Fame recognize alumni for a variety of achievements and contributions to the College.
- Alumni may sponsor Connecticut College Book Awards for outstanding students in their local high schools.
- Audit one class per semester free of charge (graduates only)
