V. David Watkins ’78 P’12
Watkins is president and chief executive officer of White Sky Inc., a company that works to protect consumers from identity theft and online crime when they are at their most vulnerable: when they conduct financial transactions on the Internet. David is a 20-plus-year internet, high-tech and entertainment industry veteran.
John H. Jessen P’13
Jessen is founder and chairman of the board of Electronic Evidence Discovery Inc., recognized internationally as a pioneer in the field of electronic evidence discovery. Jessen and his firm help attorneys use electronic data in litigation and help organizations develop electronic data retention and management policies. Entrepreneur Magazine called him "the nation's foremost authority on sniffing out secret or deleted computer files."
Christopher Morris ’96
Morris is a Director in PricewaterhouseCooper's Advisory Technology Services practice and has been with the company for over 10 years. He focuses on assisting clients in better protecting their digital assets and responding to cybercrime events. He has worked previously at the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense (Stanley Associates) and IFusion.

Anne Mickle ’89
Mickle is director of college counseling at St. Timothy’s School, a private school for girls in Maryland, serving boarding and day students grades 9–12. She received her M.A. from Columbia University and her Ph.D. in education from UMass Amherst. She has worked in admissions, counseling and advising, judicial affairs and residential life at the University of Bridgeport, University of Massachusetts, Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Jason Nier
Nier is a social psychologist whose research focuses primarily on intergroup relations. He is associate professor of psychology at Connecticut College, where he teaches social psychology, research methods, advanced psychological statistics and experimental social psychology. Nier received his B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware.
Fredrick Stratton ’96
Stratton is founder of www.feed.us, an innovative way to publish to websites and applications. He has been creating web publishing applications since 1998. At Outboard Marine, ePrairie, and 1871 Media, Stratton designed and managed the production of numerous web and email publishing applications for non-techies.

Jay Lauf ‘86
Lauf is publisher and vice president of The Atlantic Monthly and TheAtlantic.com, where he oversee sales and marketing efforts for the publication. Previously Lauf served as the publisher of Wired magazine. The Atlantic -- a storied, 150-year-old magazine, originally founded by, among others, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Harriet Beecher Stowe and Oliver Wendel Holmes -- comments on politics, current events, cultural trends and more.
James Berrien ’74
Berrien is president and chief operating officer of Mother Nature Network -- a leading online resource for daily environmental news, green commentary and simple steps to save money, stay healthy, and support the planet. Previously Berrien was the president and publisher of Forbes Magazine Group. Prior to joining Forbes, he was president of American Express Travelers Cheque Group Worldwide and vice president/general manager of the New Business Partnerships Group. He joined American Express Publishing Corp. in 1984 as associate publisher of Food & Wine magazine. Jim chairs the Connecticut College Board of Trustees.
Paul Leavitt P’10
Leavitt is a retired journalist. He started in radio and television news but spent the majority of his career in newspapers. He was a reporter and editor at The Des Moines Register for 10 years and at USA Today for 23 years, retiring as Washington news editor. He is on the Board of Trustees at Drake University in Des Moines.

Frances Cole Jones ’86
Jones is a corporate coach and president of Cole Media Management, where she prepares clients for television and print interviews, as well as professional meetings and interviews. She is also the author of How to Wow: Proven Strategies for Presenting Your Ideas, Persuading Your Audience, and Perfecting Your Image; How to Wow: Proven Strategies for Selling Your [Brilliant] Self in Any Situation; and The Wow Factor: The 33 Things You Must (and Must Not) Do to Guarantee Your Edge in Today's Business World.
Jonathan McBride ‘92
McBride is a staff member for The White House’s personnel department. Prior to joining The White House staff, McBride co-founded Jungle Media Group, an award-winning media company striving to help students and young professionals achieve success. Before his time there, he worked as an equities research sales associate with Goldman Sachs and as a Legislative Assistant to US Senator Herb Kohl. He is a former Connecticut College trustee, served on the presidential search committee that helped bring President Higdon to Connecticut College and has been very active with Unity House and alumni of color.
Amelia Gary Simpson ’95
Simpson is an associate with Spencer Stuart, one of the world’s leading executive search consulting firms. Her focus is senior level financial officer assignments for financial services companies and not-for-profit organizations. Simpson’s background includes financial officer and consumer goods experience and eight years of commercial banking and financial services. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Simpson was vice president for financial planning and analysis at Castle Brands Inc., and before that as an account executive with Brown Brothers Harriman.
