From art tours to sports receptions, there’s plenty to look forward to on the Alumni Calendar this spring. Check the calendar for a complete schedule and more information on any of the highlights below.

Feb 8: Tour of the Barnes Foundation’s New Campus, Philadelphia
Enjoy a private tour of the foundation’s acclaimed art collection. Then mix and mingle to live music during Friday Night at the Barnes.

Feb. 9: Seminar on Success, on campus
Nine remarkable alumni from companies like Amazon, Bain & Co., J.Crew and Facebook will help students sharpen their job-prep skills and transition to life after college. Topics include nailing a first interview, landing a job in the fast-paced technology industry and managing a budget. For details, visit http://sos.conncoll.edu.

Feb. 12: Bon Appetite Dinner Featuring Kathryn Hart ’96, on campus
Hart is principal of Jeffrey Elementary School in Madison, CT. 

Feb. 12 & 13: Reception with Dean Roger Brooks, Dallas and Houston
Brooks is dean of the faculty.

Feb. 17-18: Alumni Sons & Daughters, on campus
Alumni Sons & Daughters offers invaluable insights to help secondary school juniors (and their parents) prepare for the selective college admission process. This popular program is currently full, but email rsvp@conncoll.edu to add your name to a waiting list. 

Feb. 20: Art Tour and Luncheon, Naples (Fla.) Museum of Art
Snowbirds will have an opportunity to reconnect when the Connecticut College Club of Southwest Florida hosts an art tour and luncheon.

Feb. 18-22: Dinner with 12 Strangers, southeastern Connecticut
Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Seats are limited. 

Feb. 24: Sundays with Alumni (discussion series), on campus
The series brings alumni to campus to share their career experiences and insights with current students. The topic of this session is “Clear Communication: Careers in Marketing and Public Relations.” 

March 19, 20 & 21: Meet the Faculty Reception with Eugene V. Gallagher, Atlanta and Florida
Gallagher, the Rosemary Park Professor of Religious Studies, will be in Atlanta on March 19, Naples, Fla., on March 20 and Sarasota, Fla., on March 21.

April 16: Meet the Faculty Reception with Ronald J.O. Flores, Hillsborough, NC
Flores is associate professor of sociology.
