Letter from Reunion Planning Committee
Our 10th reunion is the weekend of May 30th-June 1st, 2008 and as we take the stroll down memory lane, we invite you to share your ideas with the Reunion Planning Committee. We also invite you to join the Committee; the more input we have, the better our weekend will be!
We hope you are all well and getting as excited about this reunion as we are! It will be here before we know it, and we are reaching out now to as many classmates as possible to get involved and start spreading the word about all of the exciting activities planned for the weekend. Being a part of the Reunion Planning Committee is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and catch up on the past 10 years. There have also been many exciting changes on campus, such as the completion of the Plex dorms and renovation to several classrooms. We need ideas or assistance with:
- Our Parade appearance on Saturday morning; it’s fun, really!
- Welcoming our fellow classmates and friends at the hospitality suite all weekend: Do any of you want to greet our fellow classmates or have ideas for the suite?
- Our class dinner on Saturday night: are there any special professors or staff members that we would like to invite?
- Contacting 5-10 other members of the Class of '98 to encourage record reunion attendance and a remarkable class gift. What would make you want to return to your 10th Reunion?
We currently have about seven members on the Reunion Planning Committee and would like to garner as much feedback and ideas about reunion as we can from the rest of the class. The more classmates we have involved, the more class participation we will be able to encourage! If you plan to attend reunion please take a moment to complete the Reunion Survey to add your name to the list of classmates coming back in May.
The Planning Committee will be working with our staff liaisons Beth Poole ’00 and Chris Reilly ’07 from the Office of Advancement. They are here to help us in all aspects of our reunion planning (and most of it will be done via phone/email, so we hope it will be fairly painless). We could use your ideas! If you would like to volunteer, suggest other classmates who might be interested in helping out with this year's reunion efforts, or offer your ideas and feedback please let us know by contacting one of us.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
