Generally, the Insights program includes:

Friday evening: The lobsterbake will begin at 5:30 p.m. under the big tent on Tempel Green and will run until 7 p.m. Reunion committees will meet after dinner to start Reunion planning. At 8 p.m., Insights guests are welcomed to attend the keynote address. Reunion sessions this year will focus on providing opportunities for alumni to revisit and rediscover what they love about Connecticut College. What do you think Reunion 2016 should feature?

Saturday Breakfast and Reunion Giving Workshop: The day will begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in Cro’s Nest in the College Center at Crozier-Williams. Meet members of the College’s annual giving team who will be working with you to help raise a significant class gift with broad-based participation. Hear about effective strategies and learn how you can play an important role.

Parade, President, and Picnic Lunch: At 10:30 a.m. you’ll cheer on Reunion classes as they march up Cro Boulevard to Alumni Convocation at 10:45 a.m in the College Center. The morning concludes with an all-campus picnic on the Green.

Reunion Planning Session: At 1:15 p.m., you’ll get to meet one-on-one with your classmates and other Insights volunteers to discuss your impressions of the weekend, and start planning for next year. Take note of what you did and didn’t like, and what you’d like to see for your own class at next year’s celebration.  The program ends promptly at 2 p.m. but you’re welcome to stay on campus until 4 p.m. to continue planning or to enjoy other Reunion events.

Lodging: The College will provide Friday evening accommodations at the Clarion Inn (formerly the Holiday Inn), 269 North Frontage Road, New London, and can be reached by calling 860-442-0631.
