Rehearsal Rooms

Music

For rehearsals, John C. Evans Hall and Fortune Recital Hall, the two major recital halls in the building, are adjacent to the Cummings Electronic and Digital Sound Studio (CEDS) located on the first floor of the Cummings Arts Center. The studio consists of a production-quality electronic music studio, an adjacent recording studio, and a control room with connectivity to the recital halls.

The beauty, superb acoustics and accessibility of Harkness Chapel make it the perfect rehearsal space for ensembles, vocalists, pianists and organists, and is a favorite of the College's a cappella groups. It is also a fine setting for lectures.

Dance

Dancers rehearse in the spacious and light Myers Dance Studio, located on the third floor in the College Center at Crozier-Williams, "Cro," in central campus, and in Palmer Auditorium for dress rehearsals.

Theater

The Tansill Black Box Theater at Hillyer Hall provides an intimate space for rehearsal of every conceivable type of performance, and Palmer Auditorium is available for theater dress rehearsals.
