PAUL HUCH

Head Coach • Seventh Season

Paul Huch enters his seventh season as the head men's and women's tennis coach at Connecticut College. Huch has guided the Camel women's tennis to a 40-29 (.580) record over the past four seasons. In 2007, Huch's #1 singles standout Beret Remak was honored as an ITA All-America for the second consecutive season, and was selected to the ESPN Academic All-America Team. Under Huch's direction, the Camel woman have been ranked in the ITA National Poll in each of the past three seasons.

Huch's men's program finished 8-8 in 2007, doubling their win total from the previous season and posting the best record for the program since 2000.

In 2005, Huch led the Camel women to a 10-7 mark and was honored as the NESCAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year. Huch directed the Camels to an 11-5 mark in 2004, matching the highest win total in the history of the program. The Camels climbed to #24 in the ITA Division III Poll.

Prior to his arrival in New London, Huch spent two years as the head women's tennis coach at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Under his direction, the 1999 squad posted the best record in school history. Huch is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
