NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College junior co-captain A.J. Briccetti of Wildwood, Missouri has been honored as a second team All-America by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWP). Briccetti exploded with a team-high 61 goals, leading the Camel offense this fall. Briccetti joins Alex Feinstein ´07 as just the second Connecticut College water polo player to garner All-America accolades. »

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Eight Connecticut College student-athletes have been named to Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-American Academic Team. Intercollegiate water polo players must maintain a minimum of a 3.2 grade point average to be honored. The All-American Academic team is broken down into three categories Outstanding (3.71-4.00 GPA), Superior (3.41-3.70 GPA), and excellent (3.20-3.40 GPA). »

11/28/06 Walking on Water-Alex Feinstein ´07 Caps Off Career in Style
At 6-5, Alex Feinstein can be an intimidating presence in goal for opponents to deal with. While Feinstein's playing career has included many stops, his liberal arts education has him off to a great start. Feinstein recently completed a CELS (Career Enhancing Life Skills) Internship at Mystic Aquarium. Working as a photography intern, Feinstein gained valuable experience in video editing and production. The position was a perfect match for his self-designed major of Visual Anthropology. »

Graduating seven players from the 2005 squad, Camel men's water polo coach JJ Addison will enter the Collegiate Water Polo Association season with a young but talented team this fall. Addison and the Camels will miss the services of junior Brian McVeety, who will study abroad in New Zealand. While McVeety departs, senior Gerald Wols returns from his year abroad to make his contributions to the team. Transfer defender Rene LaPlante is another new face with plenty of experience who will look to make an immediate impact for the Camels. »

New London, Conn. --Senior goalie Margaret Minnick of Locust Valley, NY and a 2000 graduate of Locust Valley High School has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Northeastern Division Player of the Week. Minnick led the Camels to a three game sweep, making 42 saves over the weekend of March 26-28 in games played against Siena, Utica and Marist College.On Friday March 26, Minnick led the Camels to their first win of the season, turning away 18 shots and allowing just six goals in an 8-6 victory over Siena. »
