2007 Connecticut College Camels

Four Camel Cross Country Runners Garner Academic All-America Honors Camel Men and Women Receive Team Academic Award from USTFCCCA

NEW LONDON, Conn. --The Connecticut College's men's and women's Cross Country teams have earned NCAA Division III All-Academic honors for the 2007 season. The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) honors teams with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.1. The Camel women's team ranked 23rd in the nation with a cumulative GPA of 3.52. The men´s team was 40th in the country with a mean GPA of 3.33. Keith Drake and Jill Sergi Garner All-New England Honors for Camels

WATERFORD, Conn.--The Connecticut College cross country program hosted the New England Division III Championship at Harkness State Park in Waterford, Connecticut Saturday. Amherst College and Williams College finished 1-2 in the men´s and women´s championship, automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championship that will take place at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota next weekend.  more...
