Patricia Wald nominated to administration post President Obama has nominated Patricia Wald '48 to serve on the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. Wald served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, including five years as chief judge, from 1979-1999. Since then, she has served in various capacities, including as a judge on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. View the announcement.
