| Salaried Administrative Addendum |
| | This addendum applies to all Salaried Administrative Staff. |
| | Vacation |
| | Vacation is accrued at a monthly rate of 11.91 hours per month (20 days per year) for full-time employees. If you work less than 37.5 hours per week, you will accrue paid vacation time in proportion to the number of hours worked. Vacation may not be used before it is earned and may not be accumulated in excess of 25 days. |
| | If you are employed in a benefits eligible, academic year position (1000 hours per year), you will have two weeks of paid time off annually which must be taken during academic breaks. If you work less than full time your two weeks of paid time off will be calculated as your normally scheduled hours. |
| | It is important that the department is appropriately staffed at all times and that the actual vacation times taken are recorded and kept on file. You must submit your vacation request to your supervisor in advance and the leave must be for no less than a half day period. Scheduling of such leave is subject to the department head's approval. |

| | Sick Pay |
| | All full time academic and full year employees who work in a benefits eligible position, accrue sick time at a rate of 5.94 hours per month (ten days per year). Sick accrual for employees working less than 37.5 hours per week will be in proportion to the number of hours scheduled. |
| | Sick time may be carried forward up to a maximum accrual of 120 days. |
| | Paid Holidays |
| | If you are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 1000 hours per year, you are eligible for the following holidays with pay: |
| | |
| New Year's Day | Independence Day | Thanksgiving Day | Christmas Eve |
| Memorial Day | Labor Day | Day after Thanksgiving | Christmas Day |
Martin Luther King Day |
| | You will receive a regular days pay for each of the above holidays. If you are a non-exempt staff member and are required to work on any of the above holidays, with supervisory approval you will be granted equivalent time off at a mutually agreeable time within the same pay period. |
| | President's Discretionary Time |
| | At the President's discretion, additional paid days may be granted. You may not accumulate discretionary days nor will you receive compensation for them if you terminate your employment. You may take discretionary time only at the discretion of the department head, based on the needs of the department. |
