The College Athletic Center (1984, expanded 1992) facilities are available to staff and faculty and their families. Intramural and extracurricular recreational activities as well as varsity and club sports are available for student participation and for staff/ faculty attendance and support. A natatorium, fitness center, rowing tanks and two new gymnasia were added in 1992 and dedicated
to the previous athletic director, Charles B. Luce.
The Dayton Arena (1980) serves not only as a home for the men's and women's ice hockey teams, but also as a center for recreational skating, indoor soccer and other sports during the academic year. Dayton Arena is located next to the Athletic Center.
