| In January 2012, less than two years after he fractured his spine in a snowmobiling accident near Lake Tahoe, Grant Korgan pushed himself 75 miles across Antarctica to the South Pole. Photographer Keoki Flagg '87 was chosen to capture that incredible expedition on camera. In this first image, Korgan, Flagg and the rest of the team land at the last degree of latitude on earth — -89 degrees on the Antarctic Plateau — to begin their journey to the South Pole. |
