Alternative Housing is a dedicated and valued part of the Connecticut College residential experience that provides opportunities for groups to thrive around a common cause.
- Alternative Housing: Wellness Housing (Blackstone House, Morrisson 3rd floor, Smith 4th floor), Quiet Housing (Burdick House, Morrisson 3rd floor), Single-Sex Floors, Academic Year Round Housing (Lazrus House and Abbey House for individual students; also available in the Village houses and apartments for groups of students through the Common Interest and Independent Living processes)
- Sustainable Living (Earth House)
- Language Housing (Knowlton House) (Knowlton Language Designations)
To apply to live in these spaces, you must go through the specialty housing application process, but will not be required to interview. Applications for Language Housing and Sustainable Living will be reviewed by the REAL SGA Advisory Board and will require a programming element.
