Health Peer Educators



Health peer educators at Connecticut College are committed to promoting healthy choices and a balanced lifestyle. They are student leaders dedicated to educating and empowering themselves and their peers to live balanced, healthy lives.

Our health peer educators are advised by the health education coordinator and director of Student Wellness & AOD (alcohol and other drugs) Education with the support of the associate dean of student life, director of student health services and the director of counseling services.

Goals
  • Serve as active role models through their responsible decision making

  • Promote a campus environment that encourages respect for all
  • Create innovative educational programs that meet the needs of their peers based on issues faced by Connecticut College students

Applications to the peer education program are accepted 365 days a year! Connecticut College students who are passionate about making a difference on our campus are encouraged to apply.
